Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Please note processing days is up to 3 business days, in addition to delivery time. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. Product-specific delivery times are specified on the table below.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Early May Bank Holiday
The cut-off for order processing is 3 pm 30/04/2021.
We will be closed from 6 pm 01/05/21 to 10 am 04/05/21 for the Early May Bank holiday. All orders placed and queries made within this time will be processed upon our return.
All paints are bespoke products and are mixed to order. Once an order has been processed by us, we are unable to make any adjustments or amendments to your order, this includes cancellations.
Please note as paints are bespoke products, they require a signature on delivery. Paints cannot be left in porches/by garages/by front or back doors etc…
As we are closed on Sunday, we are unable to process any online paint orders we may receive then until our return on Monday. Therefore those orders will have an expected delivery date of 2-3 working days from the date of processing (which would be Monday).
Cutoff time: In order to qualify for Next Working Day Delivery (delivery guaranteed before 12pm), all orders must be placed by 1pm.
Orders containing different paint brands or paints along with other kinds of products can only be shipped via Royal Mail. These orders take longer time to be fulfilled because products are shipped from different locations before being dispatch to the final destination. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery time for these orders.
We may modify the prices without prior notice, subject to changes in carrier or internal fees.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur. If we do not notify you after the latest estimated delivery day, please get in touch with us.
Mylands – Click & Collect
After you have placed an order you will receive an email within 24 working hours advising you of a pickup time for collection.
Orders placed before 2pm Mon – Fri will be ready for collection next working day.
Mylands – Shipping (Covid 19)
This winter some deliveries may take longer than normal due to the Covid 19 epidemic putting additional strain on logistics. Mylands couriers have been experiencing issues with drivers and office staff having to isolate with little or no notice due to Covid-19, so please keep this in mind when placing orders.
Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
distinctiverickmansworth.co.uk is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
distinctiverickmansworth.co.uk is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
We currently do not ship outside the U.K.
As we do our best to guarantee that our items leave our shop in the best possible conditions, we do not accept returns nor issue refunds on any order as we’re not responsible for the conditions that the product arrives in. We cannot accept returns on any items, including paints, wallpapers, rugs or others. If you need support with your order, we recommend that you contact us via our support page.
Paints are considered bespoke products as they are mixed to order, we are therefore unable to accept any exchanges, returns or refunds on paint orders.
